From 21 to 26 of March 2022, within the framework of the 9th World Water Forum, the Executive Committee of IFAS organizes an exhibition stand of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
The IFAS exhibition stand demonstrates the problems of drying up the Aral Sea, the relationship between water and climate change, the impact of climate change on the melting of glaciers, which are the main sources of water resources in the Central Asian region, the measures taken by the countries of the region to address water-environmental and socio-economic issues, as well as the achievements SDGs.
Information is provided in the form of booklets, brochures and other information and publication materials. The final documents of the Dushanbe Central Asian Preparatory Conference are also distributed in the form of a brochure at the exhibition stand.
In the monitor various videos are demonstrated about the problems of the Aral Sea basin, the impact of climate change on water resources, the policy and practice of the region in the field of water resources and climate change.
