On 9 February 2021, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFAS, Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda and the President of the World Water Council, H.E. Mr. Loic Fauchon had a virtual meeting.
The parties discussed the issues of cooperation between EC IFAS and World Water Council including in the framework of the preparatory process of the 9th World Water Forum, which will be held in Senegal in 2022, as well as the participation of the World Water Council in the implementation of the International Decade of Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028.
The parties expressed high willingness and interest in close cooperation in the above-mentioned areas.
