On 10 May 2023, a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the organization and holding of anniversary events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of IFAS was held in a hybrid format.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFAS, Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda, with the participation of members of the organizing committee from among representatives of IFAS structural divisions, members of the Executive Committee of IFAS and others.
During the meeting, issues of implementing the Plan for organizing and holding anniversary events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of IFAS, including various competitions at the national and regional levels, were discussed.
Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda informed the members of the organizing committee about the preparations for the International “Central Asia: Towards sustainable future through strong regional institution” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of IFAS, which will be held from 5 to 7 June in Dushanbe.
The organizing committee members exchanged views on the format of interactive dialogues and sessions, side events and special events, as well as cultural events of the Conference. They also discussed the organization of exhibitions by IFAS structural divisions in order to demonstrate the achievements of IFAS in strengthening regional cooperation in the field of water resources, ecology, mitigation of the effects of climate change and the drying up of the Aral Sea.
