On 20 May 2022, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFAS, Mr. Sulron Rahimzoda and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Turekhanov V.A.
The Chairman of EC IFAS informed the Ambassador about the ongoing activities of the Executive Committee and the active participation of the Kazakh side in this process. The parties also discussed interactions in the implementation of regional and national projects, including those included in ASBP-4.The importance of work to improve the organizational structure and legal framework of IFAS, which is being actively promoted by the Executive Committee of IFAS at the present time, was also emphasized.
The parties also discussed the participation of representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Second Dushanbe High-Level Water Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028, scheduled for June 6-9, 2022, and the Regional Forum on Central Asia, which will be held within the framework of this conference on 6 June.
