“Localizing Multi-stakeholders partnership for Sustainable Resilient and Inclusive Water Resources Management in Africa and Asia”

On 23 of March  2022, in Dakar Senegal, within the framework of the 9th World Water Forum, the session “Localizing Multi-stakeholders partnership for Sustainable Resilient, and Inclusive Water Resources Management in Africa and Asia”. was organized and held by the secretariat of the 4th Asia-Pacific Summit.

Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFAS, Co-Chair of the Dushanbe Water Process Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda took part in this session as a panelist.

In his speech, Mr. Rahimzoda noted the importance of water resources for achieving sustainable development, as well as the efforts of Tajikistan and IFAS in promoting water issues on the regional and global agenda, including the second Dushanbe high-level conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”. ”, 2018-2028, which will be held from 6 to 9 June 2022.

This session was also attended by the Coordinator of the African Water Facility, Water Department and Sanitation Department, Africa Water Development Bank (AFDB), the President of the India Water Foundation (3F Action Group Member), and the Chair of GWP Central Africa Director of Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of National Development Planning Indonesia.
