On 9 December 2020, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFAS, Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda had a video meeting with the Chair of the Governing Council of Asia-Pacific Water Forum, Mr. Ravi Narayanan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation between the APWF and the EC IFAS. They agreed to hold a preparatory webinar to the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit on water issues in Central Asia, as well as to organize a joint session within the framework of the Stockholm World Water Week in 2021.
The parties also agreed on the active participation of the Executive Committee of IFAS in the preparation and holding of the 4th Asia – Pacific Water Summit, which will be held in April 2022 in Kumamoto, Japan.
