On February 2, 2021, the first virtual meeting of the Steering Committee on “Water Dialogues for Results Bonn 2021: Accelerating cross-sectoral SDG 6 implementation” took place. The meeting was organized by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
The meeting discussed the role of the Steering Committee in the preparation and holding of the High-Level Conference on Water Resources, which will be held in Bonn, Germany on July 1, 2021, including the contribution of the Bon Conference to the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018 -2028, as well as a proposal for political messages to stimulate actions to achieve SDG6.
